TRIGGER WARNING: REALITY CHECK
Your mind might break a little. That's normal.
I've been avoiding writing this.
My friend asked me to talk about MIRRORS. Not just any friend - someone who's walked through the darkest valleys with me, held space when my world was breaking, seen me at my most unconscious and my most divine.
When this kind of friend asks, you gotta answer. Even if talking about mirrors might trigger... well, everyone.
The idea that everyone is your mirror sounds like spiritual bypass bullshit.
Like some clever way to avoid responsibility or excuse other people's actions.
And it can and does get use to gaslight and blame shift.
However - if we were to find the truth behind this concept -
Let’s start simple - quantum physics went looking for what's real, what's actually there in the smallest spaces of reality. And you know what they found?
Space. Mostly empty space.
And in that space?
Nothing exists as fixed until someone looks.
The observer literally helps create what appears.
This isn't some woo-woo spiritual teaching. This is physics.
Every spiritual tradition been trying to tell us the same thing - there's one consciousness behind all the looking.
Sure, religions fight about what to call it, or the interpretation of its truth, but think about it -
would one consciousness really fight with itself?
That's the whole game we're here to heal.
Okay so what do we do about this oneness…
Go deep enough into any spiritual practice
Sit long enough in sacred ceremony
Get quiet enough in meditation
And you'll find the same truth:
It's all about opening the heart.
With an open heart, are you connected to the one observer, the witness - to the creator - which is in you.
Your beating heart isn't just pumping blood
It's the bridge between infinite and finite
Between formless and form
Between consciousness and creation
That's why every tradition points to love - it’s the practical & technical frequency of the creator.
That's why every ceremony opens the heart
That's why meditation always leads you back
To that space…
Your heart knows this.
That's why love breaks all the rules.
Why you can feel someone across the planet.
Why love doesn't die when bodies do.
Your heart's been trying to tell you something:
There's only one of us here.
Not metaphorically. Not poetically. Actually. Technically.
Love isn't just a feeling
It's the frequency of creation itself
The energy that consciousness uses
To remember itself through form
Every trigger
Every joy
Every judgment
Every love
Is you
Showing you
Who you are
"Do unto others as you would do unto yourself" isn't some moral teaching. It's the raw truth of being.
Because there is only you
Only us
Only love
Learning to recognize itself
Through every pair of eyes
We meet
Now this truth of our oneness opens something deeper:
We are playing hide and seek with oureselves as a way to creator more love, more of our divine energy.
In order to remember love, we start out in a stage of forgetfulness…
We begin with the story of separation as a trigger for our remembering journey.
Each reflection,
Each physical avatar,
Each being has their own remembering journey.
WE MUST HONOR THE SACRED REMEMBERING JOURNEY by giving everyone the same agency as the creator.
We can only remember this power if everyone has it.
Each reflection has its own sacred agency
Its own desires
Its own divine will
Our work isn't to dissolve boundaries
But to create a loving remebering space
Sacred awareness & attention for everyone on our path.
Sometimes loving ourselves means -
Taking space from certain reflections
Not agreeing with certain actions
Seeing clearly where hearts have closed
We can recognize the unity
While honoring the illusion of separation
Sometimes we must step away
To love ourselves even deeper
Because only when we truly love ourselves
Can our heart's frequency return to oneness
Only when we're whole inside
Can we invite others into wholeness
This is the paradox of mirrors:
Seeing our oneness
While honoring our uniqueness
All of it held in love's endless game
Our life's work is simple:
Remember this truth
Keep our hearts open
Dissolve & Honor the illusion of separation
One day at a time
One heartbreak at a time
One mirror at a time
Until love recognizes itself
In every pair of eyes
Let each reflection
Have its dance
While knowing
We're all love
Finding its way home
